pillowcase dress.

I made this cute little pillowcase dress for Bug for her pictures with Santa. :)

Here's a full body shot.  Forgive the photography...it's rather impossible to get a 14 mo old to stand still. :)

bows, bows, and more bows!!

I've been busy sewing!  Made some bows for little girls - and big ones too!!  

I'm selling these for $3/each + shipping.  They all measure appx 3" x 5" and have an alligator clip attached to the back.

halloween costume.

I challenged myself to make a few (I don't remember if it was 3 or 4!) Halloween things in order to try to get myself into the "True Halloween Spirit".  Needless to say, it's not really working.  I've tried...I REALLY have tried.  The best part about Halloween is when it's all over I've decided. :)

One of my projects was to make my daughter's Halloween costume.

She's going as Pebbles Flintstone.  Even though I don't like the holiday, I will try not to pass that along to my kid. :)

no-sew snug.

My little Bug hasn't been feeling good, so while we were at JoAnns today with my mom, we picked up some fleece and I made her a no-sew snug.

Super excited for her to see it tomorrow morning. :)

a new snug.

I spent the weekend down at my mom's house.  Small, quaint, little town aka The Boonies.  BUT, I love it. :) 

We decided to take a drive on Friday to a little craft store that we'd heard about but never been.  In that store were SUPER cute minky blankets.  We were inspired and decided to make a new rag snug (aka blanket) for Bug.

Found some way cute, bright fabric in my mom's stash:

Went into town and bought some minky to match with it.  Bug {LOVES} teeky soft blankets so we HAD to have more minky than cotton.

And, of course we had to have my Executive Assistant help us.  

How can I say no to that?!?! :)  She loves it and had been sleeping with it since that night. 

Thanks mom for all of your help in sewing and cutting!!!  You're so talented. :)
